We are looking for an exceptional Senior Robotics Engineer to lead the design and development of advanced autonomous robotic systems.

The Role

As a Senior Robotics Engineer, you will lead the architecture, development, and deployment of autonomous robotic platforms capable of operating safely in complex real-world environments.

You will collaborate with AI researchers, software engineers, and hardware teams to develop next-generation autonomous systems from concept through field deployment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and architecture of autonomous robotic systems
  • Develop perception, localization, mapping, navigation, and motion planning algorithms
  • Design and implement robotics software using ROS2, C++, and Python
  • Integrate LiDAR, cameras, radar, GPS, IMUs, thermal sensors, and other robotic sensors
  • Develop SLAM, sensor fusion, obstacle avoidance, and autonomous navigation capabilities
  • Build and test robotic prototypes in real-world environments
  • Optimize robotics performance, reliability, safety, and scalability
  • Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across robotics projects
  • Collaborate with AI, software, electrical, and mechanical engineering teams
  • Evaluate and implement emerging robotics technologies

Required Qualifications

  • PhD in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Aerospace Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Control Systems, or a closely related field (required)
  • 5+ years of professional robotics engineering experience following completion of the PhD
  • Expert knowledge of ROS2
  • Strong programming skills in C++ and Python
  • Proven experience developing autonomous robotic systems
  • Strong understanding of robotics algorithms, kinematics, dynamics, controls, and system integration
  • Experience with autonomous navigation, motion planning, SLAM, and sensor fusion
  • Hands-on experience integrating LiDAR, cameras, radar, IMUs, GPS, and embedded robotic hardware
  • Experience with Linux-based robotics development
  • Excellent problem-solving and system debugging skills
  • Ability to lead complex robotics projects from concept through deployment

  • Experience deploying autonomous robots in operational environments
